The English Arbor features a flat pergola-style top with exposed rafters extending past the main beams. Beneath the top, arched brackets span between the posts, creating a curved header profile on the front and back faces. The side panels are the signature element, using closely spaced vertical balusters (1" x 1" stock) rather than lattice, giving the arbor a more formal, fence-like character. Each side panel is divided into sections, with a diamond-shaped cutout accent set into a solid panel at roughly mid-height, separating the upper and lower baluster sections. The 4" x 4" posts provide a sturdy frame. The overall proportions are generous, with a wide stance. The opening may be altered to any size up to 6 feet. Available with or without gate and lattice extensions, or with any of our gate styles as referenced in the Arbor Gates and Extensions section.
