The Tori Gate is a Japanese-style garden structure with a horizontal double-beam top that curves gently upward at the ends. The beams sit on wide, blocky capitals atop tapered square posts, and each post is topped with a sloped, angled cap that overhangs to either side. The posts taper slightly as they rise, and the vertical faces feature shallow recessed panels.
The design is deliberately simple and open, with the upswept beam profile and tapered proportions giving it a distinctly Eastern character. There are no side panels or lattice. It accepts gates and lattice extensions for a more complete entryway. Pairs with any of our arbors and arches.
