About This Product
The Salem Arch has a triangular pediment top with a wide overhanging cornice, creating a gable profile that references classical architectural forms. Curved brackets spring from the post caps to support the pediment on either side, and the opening beneath follows a pointed arch line. The large square posts feature vertical fluting and layered caps similar to the Cambridge Arch.
The overall form is spare and vertical, with the peaked top giving it a more formal bearing than a simple rounded arch. It serves as a companion piece to the NeoClassical Arbor and accepts lattice extensions and gates. Pairs with any of our arbors and arches.
