The Essex Arch features a deep bonnet formed by two concentric arched bands connected by short horizontal rungs, creating a canopy-like top with visible depth. This double-arch construction gives the Essex a three-dimensional quality that sets it apart from single-plane arches. Below the bonnet, decorative brackets connect the arches to the posts, and the large square posts are fluted with layered caps.
The structure reads as a more substantial alternative to the Cambridge Arch, sharing the same post style but adding the deep overhead framework. With no built-in side panels, it takes lattice extensions and gates as accessories. Pairs with any of our arbors and arches.
