About This Product
The Craftsman Arbor has a peaked gable top that is rotated ninety degrees from the typical orientation, so the ridge line runs side to side rather than front to back. This puts the rafter tails on prominent display as they extend past the main beams with deep overhangs on both sides, a hallmark of Arts and Crafts architecture. Triangular bracket details sit beneath the canopy where it meets the posts.
The side panels feature a geometric grid lattice with strong vertical and horizontal members using substantial 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" stock with full lap joints. The pattern varies in spacing, creating visual rhythm within the panels. The overall stance is wide and deep, with the canopy extending well beyond the posts. The walk-through opening may be customized to any width up to 5 feet.
