Many customers will email digital images of their house and the area where the pergola will be installed. This is often very beneficial for discussions regarding site constraints and style choices, but not a requirement. We will be happy to discuss the particulars for your individual pergola and furnish you a quote.

Remember, the images that you see on the website are only a few examples of the custom pergolas that we have created. If you do not see a style on the website that suites your location we can discuss a unique solution to address your needs.

The Design Process: After an initial conversation to determine size, style, function and any site constraints, we create an estimated cost for the project. Occasionally we'll send rough thumbnail sketches to clarify ideas to help with the estimating process. Once the estimate is accepted and you choose to move forward with the project, we create a 3-D digital model that is then emailed to you. The model can be viewed from every angle and enlarged, enabling you to completely experience the structure on your computer. Changes can then be made to various details such as rafter tail profiles, proportions and density of structure. The file you download can be viewed using 'eDrawings viewer' software. The 'eDrawings viewer' software is FREE and a product from SolidWorks Inc. Installing the software is quick and easy. To install the software, click here to go to edrawingsviewer.com, choose PC or Mac, and follow the instructions (you do NOT have to register the software).

Once the viewer software is loaded onto your computer, the 3D model may be viewed in shaded or line drawing representation. You will be able to zoom in on it to see specific design details of the structure. You may also view a series of pre set vantage points by hitting the play button.

All of our structures are submitted for approval in this manner prior to construction.
